M&A Market Set to Rebound?

The Wall Street Journal’s Venture Dispatch recently had an interesting piece on Accel VC Jim Breyer and his thoughts on the M&A market. His view is that there are still fast-growing companies in media and technology that are likely to get acquired, but that price can be a sticking point. Dan Primack over at peHUB recently pointed to a different trend that could increase the number (although not the size) of M&A deals by creating more “quick-hit” startups. We hope that with all the potential for M&A that August was just a hiccup in an otherwise more upbeat market.
